We are all part of a team that works in a highly specialised medical facility, which treats patients from Germany and abroad. The focus of our treatment is on amutation medicine (acute treatment, further treatment, rehabilitation, outpatient consultations) and multimodal pain management.
The patients come to our hospital expecting medical treatment of the very highest standard – our aim is to fully satisfy these expections. To achieve this goal, our team is always up to speed with the newest medical research concerning orthopaedics, surgery, internal medicine, pain management, psychology, physiotherapy, sports therapy, dietary advice and care. Furthermore the hospital works closely with a workshop for prosthetics, thereby ensuring patients are supplied with the best available medical aids and prosthetics.
To ensure these high expectations on our patient’s diagnostics, therapy and security are met, we have established a well structured quality and risk assessment system, certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 an DEGEMED 6.0.
We focus on the patient as a person. Therefore we work according to the bio-psycho-social model. We listen to what the patients tell us, using this information to decide which treatment and therapy options are appropriate. Relatives and family members as well as the patient’s job and other life situations are taken into consideration, too. As part of a comprehensive treatment plan, we support patient before as well as after their stay with us.
We are aware that only highly-motivated and quality-conscious employees will allow our hospital reach its full potential. We know that our employees affect the essence an appearance of our hospital on all levels. We want the high standard of treatment and the quality of our facility to help us gain new patients and keep their trust in our therapy in the future. Continuous in-house and external training an professional development are part of our process to ensure these aims.
The leadership style inherent in our hospital is both cooperative and communicative, and based on mutual respect. We maintain a sense of partnership, which is characterised by team spirit and openness. We define clear goals, which we want to achieve with the cooperation of various different professsions.
Close cooperations and constant dialog with referring hospitals or doctors and funding agencies are of great importance to us.
We stand for a responsible use of limited resources. We put special attention on the efficiency of our work and the economic success of the hospital. This enables us to secure jobs and look to future innovations.
We make careful and judicious use of our available environmental resources.
